Tidewell

Patients rang the clinic because the booking form hid free times behind three steps. I made the times the first thing you see.

The brief

Tidewell runs four GP clinics in Copenhagen. Most patients still booked by phone, because the old web form asked for personal details before it showed a single free time.

What I built

A booking flow that starts with the times. Patients pick a doctor, a day and a slot, then fill in only what the clinic needs. Taken slots stay visible but struck through, so nobody wonders whether the page is broken.

Behind it is a small design system in React and Radix, documented in Storybook. The front desk app and the patient site now share the same parts.

What changed

Within four months online bookings rose from 22% to 64% of visits, and the phone queue at eight in the morning got noticeably shorter.
